My teen doesn't have a sweet tooth. So, when he recommended Paul's Creamery, I was in for a surprise! The place was literally humming with a music-loving, dancing young crowd. And I'm talking about the cool vibe when we reached this place at 11 pm. In fact, this is the first time I've been out so late in Kochi.

An adorable toddler was perched on the Snowman themed seating arrangement. Her parents were clicking selfies with her. But she was pointing in the direction of the ice cream counter - yes, toddlers have their priorities sorted:)

Paul's Creamery has a stylish decor, which is easy to navigate, fun to start dancing as few young folks did while we were there and most importantly, it has a fabulous line-up of ice creams. Team it up with a classic waffle as I did and it's all melted and the chocolate flavour melts its way through the cubes inside the waffle.

So, by all means, drag your family members, especially children, from being glued to their cell phones and apps. Get them out to breathe fresh air, have a walk in the park and get adventurous with ice creams. It's the best thing to do in Kochi!

How do you light deepam at home? How to properly light a diya? Should diya face god or us? As a child, I loved watching the ritual of my grandmother lighting the deepam or the traditional lamp at home in the evenings. The lamp or the diya always faced the deity or Ishta Devata.
