Instances that create a weeping heart moistening our eyes- difficult to classify,it maybe a photo,a movie clipping,a song,a press report and of course certain memories...i am glad atleast i am able to do that... :(

Although there are very few things that make me cry (Haven't done that in quite a while now, no idea why...), there are a few things that do make me wistful...

1. Certain books
2. Very rarely, a movie
3. Some songs
4. Lonely hours at a few places
5. Making up with those select few rare friends, after a big fight

Thanks for writing this. You just inspired me to write something, using this as the basis of it. I hope you don't mind that...?

Very inner most thoughts, thanks for sharing. You made me think about cry!!!
For me, I cry for very few reasons, thats why my husband calls me "stone hearted!!"
1. I cry when my daughter troubles me for her studies.
2. I cry when my daughter gives good dance performance on stage.
3. I cry when........ hey I stopped crying long back for small things :-)

Our earlier discussion on Saree Woes really perked up my spirits. A big thanks to all of you for pepping me up. Okay, here's the good news. There was an unexpected late night party that I had to attend in Gurgaon. To be honest, I haven't had the time or energy to attend any such parties after Adi was born. Khan Market is one of my favorite places, not only because it is a place where stories can be plucked from people's conversations and mannerisms but this is an amazing hub for food lovers. You can find all types of food that is sure to appeal to your sense of taste. Here is a yummy walnut cake from Sugar&Spice. From the moment you enter their store, you will find yourself bumping into either foreigners looking through different types of cheese (Belgian, French, Danish etc) or Indians who pretend to be just like the foreigners wearing those outrageously expensive 'phoren' perfumes and even sounding like them! God, when will we learn to respect being us, I really don't know, but I couldn't resist this walnut cake. It has a slightly nutty flavors and isn't all that sweet but if you like tasting exotic stuff, this one's for you so have it! What's your favorite cake? Do you make it or buy it? Best time to light diya

Want to know when is the best time to light diya or deepam at home? In most Hindu homes, 'deepam' or 'diya' is lit at least twice - once in the morning and then in the evening.
