Note of Thanks for the Honest Award

Thank you, Baba.

I've run out of words to describe my happiness in getting this Award. A big, heart felt thank you to Faiza Ali for encouraging me with this Honest Award. It means so much to me because I'm an ardent admirer of her awesome blog, Faiza Ali's Kitchen.


Requirements:-
  1. I must thank the person who gave me the award and list their blog and link it
  2. I must list 10 honest things about myself

2. I am very thankful and humbled by my parents', their unconditional love, sacrifices and amazing support and the way they brought me up.

7. I am a 'people person.' I love to help people to the best of my ability and without expecting anything in return.

8. I avoid wearing blue and I don't know why.

9. I want to serve my country and I'm still figuring out how to do so in the best possible way.

Now it seems i know you a bit more....but i was surprised to know that u avoid to wear blue because I love to wear blue. All my things are in blue color... :)

You will definitely win Bookers Prize one day, that's my sincere wish for you and i want u to call me someday and tell me that Yes Ritu , you were right.... :)

I way that i feel that you can help the country is by teaching underprivileged kids. This is something i wish to do sometime in life. I think I would suggest you to do is to participate in Teach India initiative by Times if possible for. Following is the link to register for it:

Saree Woes 2

Our earlier discussion on Saree Woes really perked up my spirits. A big thanks to all of you for pepping me up. Okay, here's the good news. There was an unexpected late night party that I had to attend in Gurgaon. To be honest, I haven't had the time or energy to attend any such parties after Adi was born. I was sure I wouldn't have the confidence to make conversation with the glitterati, let alone feel confident to carry off wearing a saree. What's Your Favorite Cake?

Khan Market is one of my favorite places, not only because it is a place where stories can be plucked from people's conversations and mannerisms but this is an amazing hub for food lovers. You can find all types of food that is sure to appeal to your sense of taste. Here is a yummy walnut cake from Sugar&Spice. From the moment you enter their store, you will find yourself bumping into either foreigners looking through different types of cheese (Belgian, French, Danish etc) or Indians who pretend to be just like the foreigners wearing those outrageously expensive 'phoren' perfumes and even sounding like them! God, when will we learn to respect being us, I really don't know, but I couldn't resist this walnut cake. It has a slightly nutty flavors and isn't all that sweet but if you like tasting exotic stuff, this one's for you so have it! What's your favorite cake? Do you make it or buy it?
