November, in my memories of living in Delhi for over fifteen years, had never been as cold as it is now. There was a time when the weather used to be pleasant in November. Going out for an evening stroll used to be a pleasure. Not anymore - unless you want to be choked by smog! Turns that Delhi has woken up to the coldest November at 7.5 degrees on Friday, which is being said to be the coldest in 17 years. Perhaps this is the right time of the year to stay indoors, curl up with piping hot ginger tea and cozy up with books. And keep a warm stole handy - just to ward off the winter's chill in the air.
