According to World Noodle Organisation, Korea is ranked the second largest consumer of instant noodles, after Vietnam. This trend raises health concerns but experts suggest that adding vegetables and other ingredients can address the drawbacks of consuming refined carbohydrates and salty soup. Those who are prediabetic are advised to add an egg whenever they eat noodles.

Worldwide, Ramen noodles are popular as it is delicious, easy to customise according to regional preferences and most importantly, you can prepare it in few minutes. Most spicy Korean instant noodles are enjoyed in different preparations. However, most popular instant noodle brands are made using white wheat flower, which is a refined carbohydrate and therefore, it poses health concerns. Another issue is that if we consume instant noodles too quickly, it spikes our sugar levels.
For those who are health-conscious, it maybe a good idea to add bean sprouts to tackle the sodium content in instant noodles. Plus, bean sprouts are high in fibre.

When my kid was growing up, I remember he enjoyed instant noodles and would be fussy if we added any vegetables to it.
Most Indian kids and teenagers love instant noodles. When I used to work in office, many colleagues would bring noodles for lunch or they would have Vegetable noodles or Hakka noodles when they want to relax. Adding grated cheese on top of cooked noodles is hugely popular in most Indian eateries.
As we know, popular Korean instant noodles are fast becoming a global favourite. You can step into any of the premium supermarket stores in India and find several leading popular Korean instant noodles brands showcased in their noodles section. Some of the most famous Korean instant noodle brands are Nongshim Shin Ramaun and Samyang's Buldak-bokkeum-myeon.
Given that most Indians enjoy spicy flavours, these Korean instant noodles would offer quick, flavourful bites too. One good practice to keep in mind is to eat mindfully and not rush through.
